My ceramics are hand painted with love in our tiny thatched cottage on Squirrel Lane in Northamptonshire. I glaze and fire them with care and post them in recycled, recyclable, eco-friendly packaging.

Why 'Bagsy me first!'?

I started selling my handmade bags (hence 'Bagsy') at my son's school Christmas fair in 2013. From small beginnings ​I now have customers in 39 different countries and in each and every ​US state - which feels amazing!

The process...

When my finished paintings are dry I dip them in glaze (a suspension of fluxes and silica). They dry in the kiln room and then I load them in the kiln - each item carefully balanced on a tiny stilt. They're fired in the kiln and 17 hours later I unload them - and they're ready to gift wrap and pop in the post!
